Workshop is the place where uteruses are fabricated. Currently, within the shed stands a large and a smaller reconstruction of a cross-section of a uterus both made from materials taken from the artist’s home during renovation. Housed with the uteruses are anything used in conceiving or constructing the piece: preliminary drawings, research, process documentation, templates, scrap materials, a drawing charting the piece’s genealogy, etc. The large uterus is entitled Reanimator when shown separately from the Workshop. |
